Welcome! As a new member in Careington Dental Plan ("500 Series"), you should receive your new Dental Plan Membership packet in about 10 business days.
Remember, you do not need to wait for the mail to start using your new Dental Plan immediately!
After joining here online...
Fast Start Tip 1: When making your first appointment verify that the dental office is a current Careington network provider and is accepting new patients.
Fast Start Tip 2: You are sent a Temporary E-mail ID within 30 minutes. Print this Temporary ID and take it on your first dental office visit.
Fast Start Tip 3: We suggest that you print a copy of the full Schedule of Discounts for your State and take it with you on your first dental office visit to be sure you are being billed properly.
Don't be confused: the Careington Plan "500 Series" varies by state, e.g. 501, 502, 503, etc., based on regional cost-of-living and other factors.
Quick-Start Checklist:
- Confirm that the dental office is a Careington provider and is accepting new patients.
- Print and take a copy of your dental plan Temporary E-mail ID.
- Print and take a copy of your State's Schedule of Discounts (500 Series).
Your regular Plan ID card Membership material should arrive by mail in about 10 business days.
Vision & Rx Plans: You may start using the Vision Plan (included) and Prescription Plan (optional) once your ID Card(s) arrive via regular mail.
